One of my favorite songs of late says – the fear of the Lord, is upon me, that that which He has in His mind nobody can change it. Just as Job wrote in Job 23v13&14:
“But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? and what His soul desireth, even that He doeth.
For He performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with Him.”
Blessed be Your holy name O Lord – and because of that, I am not scared, because that which the Lord God Almighty hath appointed for me, He shall bring it to pass, and Lord we just submit to Your will and Your Lordship today and evermore, in Jesus name we pray.

Saturday, September 29th, 2007 - Count it all joy
It is a message we oft hear, and sometimes forget, but from last week, this message has been coming to mind, reading through it in James 1, and then a message on Sunday noted the fact of how we see trials - as hurdles to be passed, or as opportunities for growth. Yet again today, a friend sent out an email about this same issue. And so, whatever you are going through, remember the Bible says to count it all joy right there in James 1v2.
"Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.
Be assured and understand that the trial and the proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.
But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing." James 1v2-4 (Amplified Bible)
--
And may the Lord's grace be always sufficient for you, and His strenght made perfect in weakness, in Jesus name, amen.

Friday, September 28th, 2007 – No offence
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. We thank God for the bubbling sun here in Boston, Massachusetts – and hoping the weather is also as lovely wherever you are. One of the verses that I have liked for quite a while, is that in Psalm 119v165, which says:
“Great peace have they which love Thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”
Hmm. Looking at it in line with Acts 24v16, where Paul was saying:
“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.”
And Hebrews 12v14 which says:
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”
Hmm. Do you see a trend here? We should strive to be at peace with all, not getting offended (or stumbling). Psalm 119v165 gives some insight into how this can be achieved – love the law of the Lord.
Have a blessed day.

“Those who love Your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.” Psalm 119v165 (New Living Translation)
“For those who love what You reveal, everything fits – no stumbling around in the dark for them.” Psalm 119v165 (The Message)

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today – for Your goodness, for Your faithfulness, for Your lovingkindness. We thank You for we can sing Your praise all the day long. We thank You for life and for Your presence in our lives. Blessed be Your holy name forevermore. Father we thank You also for making provision for us not to be offended, nor to stumble as we have great peace from loving your law. We pray that You teach us to do Your will all the day long, every day and always to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, and also to desire the sincere milk of the Word in Jesus name. Lord of the harvest, we pray too that You draw people to know You. We pray that You help us to see people as You see them, with eyes of compassion, and help us to continually be a light to them. We pray also that Lord, You put a new song in our mouths, even of praise to You, that many will see and fear and trust in You. Daddy, let us increase in the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding in the mighty name of Jesus, that we might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thursday, September 27, 2007 – Our dialogue
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Listening to a cd today, the musician – Don Moen – introduced a song by saying – he believes God wants worship to be more of a dialogue, and not a monologue. That as we are saying Lord I love You and I bless You, we should allow room for Him to respond in affirmation that He loves us too and He loves to bless us. However, many times we may end up in the Father I thank You, Father I love You, Father bye bye, in Jesus name we pray, amen. I remember listening to a Pastor preaching on asking God for compliments or feedback. For example, saying Father, this outfit that I am wearing, what do You think, and through the Holy Spirit He tells you – it looks good, or the brown shoes will go better e.t.c. Or, Him telling us thank you for doing that kind deed to a fellow brethren or perhaps a stranger and more grease to your elbow.
Imagine having a friend right beside you whom you never speak to or appreciate or acknowledge. The Bible says:
“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14v17
“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.” John 16v13
The Holy Spirit of God is here with us and dwelling in us and telling us things from the throne room of God. COMMUNICATE with Him, love Him and remain blessed.
Have a very lovely day.

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so so much for another lovely day that You have made, which we can rejoice and be glad in. We thank You for who You are and all that You do for us. We thank You for performing all things for us and perfecting that which concerns us. We bless and appreciate You for the precious gift of Your presence, of Your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit we love You and thank You for Your presence here. Father Lord, we pray for the grace to be in constant fellowship with You – both to talk to You – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and to listen to You, in Jesus name. We pray for a more intimate relationship with You O God. We pray O Lord also that You draw those that do not know You to the knowledge of You and of Jesus. Holy Spirit have Your way in our lives. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God, in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007 – let them be accepted
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Reading through a book the other day, the author was talking about how sometimes our words are so so harsh that they kind of drive people away. Then the author recommended that if this was your case, you could pray along the lines of Psalms 19v14:
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”
And this is a prayer that we so often say and sometimes sing, that it could be easy to forget the fact that it is an actual prayer and a cry out to God that Father, let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, who is my strength and who redeems me. Basically, I cannot do it on my own but I really do want to please You in the things I say and the things I think, knowing that upon Your return, I will account for every idle word that I speak, and knowing too that out of the abundance of my heart, my mouth is going to speak, so Lord, my strength and my redeemer, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Tuesday, September 25, 2007 – To avoid embarrassment
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Okay so many of us do not like to get embarrassed – ah, not at all. Yesterday, I went for a class which I was not officially registered for, but was allowed to sit in on the class. Initially, I sat down with fellow students, a bit to the back. After a while, I noticed that more students were still coming in. To avoid embarrassment, I took my bag and went to sit on the window sill at the back. Now the Professor may have allowed me to sit where I was, while students taking the course as a class, sat on the window sill but …
Now the Bible is so complete, and we see in Proverbs 25v6&7 where the Bible cautions us that:
“Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:
For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.”
Have a very blessed day.
--
Verses for thought:
“It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” Proverbs 25v27&28
--
Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today, we thank You for Your goodness and for Your faithfulness and for Your wisdom. We thank You for Your Word which You have given to us that we may know how to live wisely in the world. We bless and appreciate You. Father Lord, this day, we ask You for a spirit of humility, realizing that all that we have comes from You and all that we are, You have made us to be. Help us to remember that promotion cometh from none other but You. Hallowed be Your holy name forevermore. Blessed be Your holy name. Lord of the harvest, we pray too that You send forth labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We thank You for today, praying that all that we do in word, thought and deed will glorify Your holy name, in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

Monday, September 24th, 2007 – How willing is willing?
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. People often say, when you do not have a giving attitude when you have a little bit, it will be even much more harder when you have a lot more. So the whole, ah, when I have more I will give more hardly works. We see that with God, He loves when you give Him willingly, cheerfully, no looking back kind of giving. Presently listening to a song saying … everything I have You gave, what I give You already have, … Yet, even though He owns everything and even if He was hungry, He asks us to honour us with our giving. We see this reflected in both the old and the new testaments.
“AND the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take My offering.” Exodus 25v1&2
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9v6&7
Have a blessed day.

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today. We thank You for Your lovingkindness and Your tendermercies. We adore and appreciate You for everything You are doing in our lives. Daddy, we thank You for Your mercies and Your constant care of us – for never ever failing nor forsaking us. Father Lord, we pray that in any way we have been giving to You or for good works, grudgingly or of necessity, please forgive us. We pray for the grace to give willingly from our hearts and the knowledge of what it means to give willingly from our hearts. Have Your way in our lives o Lord. We bless You, we appreciate You and exalt You. We say Lord of the harvest, please send forth labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God, in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
