Saturday, November 17, 2007 – It is well

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and that you are keeping warm or cool –as the case may be.

Jesus said to His disciples:

“I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]” John 14v30 (Amplified Bible)

Have you ever had two friends who did not get along at all? Perhaps they had nothing in common or perhaps even had a history together so much so that they do not see eye to eye. We see this with Jesus, the Prince of peace, and the prince of the world. You cannot serve the two or be with the two.

Have a blessed day.

Verses for thought:
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Matthew 6v23-24 (KJV)

Our dearest Father in Heaven,
Omnipotent God, Omniscient God, Omnipresent God, we love You. We appreciate You and thank You so much for this day that You have made, that we can rejoice and do rejoice and are glad in. We say we are grateful for all that You are doing in our lives. For watching over us and being an ever present help in trouble, we say we are grateful. We thank You because we can pray to You at all times, with all kinds of prayer. We thank You for we can be real with You, and we can pour out our hearts to You. We thank You O Lord because we have the greater One on the inside of us, and we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Hallowed be Your holy name O God. We thank You for our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in us, which we have of God, and we are not our own. May we continually glorify You O Lord in our body and in our spirit, which are God’s. We pray also O Lord for they who do not know You and pray that Thou Lord of the Harvest send forth labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We ask all these things in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

Friday, November 16, 2007 - That ye may believe

Jesus said to His disciples in John 14v29 that:

"And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass you may believe."

Have you ever had to exclaim along the lines of - oh, and he said so o, or oh, and she said so o. Hmm. The same way Jesus told His disciples many things, that they may believe when they see it being fulfilled. The same also applying to us today.

What has God told you in the past, that you have seen come to pass and exclaimed - oh, and He said so o. Remember, He is not a man that He should lie. If He said it, He will do it.

That ye may believe!!!

Have a blessed day.

Thursday, November 15th, 2007 - Missing You

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Hmmm. When one person is leaving a place, or another person (unless the person that is leaving is totally awful and they had been pleading for this person to leave - even in such extreme cases), there is bound to be an iota of miss. Missing the one who is leaving, and I guess the one leaving, missing the one being left. You can only imagine the disciples every cause for not rejoicing when Jesus said He was leaving - I mean, He was their world and everything they did revolved around Him. They wanted to understand His parables, be close to Him, ... But now, after all the time they had spent together - He had to leave. 'How, why, when, what ...?'
But Jesus tells them:

"Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye love Me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for My Father is greater than I." John 14v28

Why should I rejoice because Jesus has gone to His Father?

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 - Let Not

In the book of John, chapter 14 and verse 27, there contains, two words that I absolutely adore. Those words are - rolling drums - LET NOT.

The verse says:

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. LET NOT your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

And we know that out of the heart comes the issues of life. The peace Jesus speaks of giving to His disciples here, is not the type that man gives when they tell you, oh, don't worry, I would do this or that, and so be rest assured. Nope. Its the type of peace that makes you sleep through the storms of life. Hallelujah.

Have a blessed day.

Our Father and our God,
Eternal Rock of Ages, Our Rock of refuge, Prince of peace, joy giver, how great You are. Daddy, we just thank You for Your peace at this time. Your peace that makes us smile and be as a wonder unto many, but You are our rock of refuge. Your peace that passeth all understanding, that keeps out hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Thank You for Your peace O God. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We rest in Your peace this day, and remember those who do not know You yet, that You draw them to You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. PEACE.

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 - The Sound of Music

I am a huge fan of the movie - The Sound of Music. I apologize to those who haven't seen it, but it is about a nun who is sent to help a Captain who has 7 children, yes 7 children, but who was a widow. There is a particular scene where the governess- Fraulein Maria, had left the Captain's home, and given her personality, she had been one to always cheer up the home and make the children feel better - even during thunder storms.

And so on this particular day, the children were unhappy, and were wondering, what would Fraulein Maria say in a situation like this. Now, the disciples were also in a somewhat similar situation when Jesus told them that He was leaving and they were sorrowful. But He left them with a promise. I mean, He was the Prince of peace, who always made things seem better - He calmed their storms, helped them rise back up when they backed down from their adventures, provided food for myriads of people, healed the sick, raised the death, and brought righteousness, peace, and joy. He thus said to them,

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14v26

Wondering what Jesus, the Prince of peace is saying about a particular situation, why don't you ask the Comforter, who is the Holy Ghost, who is in you and dwells in you.

Have a blessed day.

Monday, November 12, 2007 – His love

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Hope bubbling!!!

“These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.” John 14v25

One thing that is really amazing about God, is that He knows us so much – and yet He loves us so much. He knows us more than we know ourselves – our thoughts, our frailties, our weaknesses, everything. But the Word of God says:

“Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!” Psalm 62v8 (Amplified Bible)

Frankly, if you cannot be real with God, who can you be real with. Remember the widow who was asked, is all well – and she replied “it is well,” until she reached Elisha, the man of God, to pour out her fears.

“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].

We love Him, because He first loved us” 1 John 4v18&19

Come to Him and pour out your hearts before Him. He cares.

Have a blessed day.

Sunday, 11th of November, 2007 - I love Him. I love Him not.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this wonderful Sunday? I hope well. May the Lord bless and increase You in Jesus name, amen.

When Judas, not Iscariot, asked Jesus, why He chose to manifest Himself to the disciples, and not unto the world, Jesus responded to Him saying that those who loved Him, will keep His words, and His Father will love Him and They two will come unto him, and make Their abode with him.

Now, a second part of His response, concerned those who did not love Him. Jesus thus said:
"He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me." John 14v24

And we recall that God does not want for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. But you remember Pharaoh responding to Moses and Aaron, when they told him that the LORD God of Israel said to let His people go:

"And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go." Exodus 5v2

And now, we are without excuse to say that we do not know God, only the fool says in his heart that there is no God. Again, we see in Romans 1v29:

"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

God speaks, as He always has.

Have a blessed day.

Our dearest Father in Heaven,
We thank You so much for today. We thank You for Your loving kindness and Your tendermercies. We thank You for Your love, care and protection of us. We thank You for crowning us with Your lovingkindness, and causing us to hear Your lovingkindness everyday. We bless You for Your righteousness and exalt You for Your goodness. How great You are. My Lord and My God, we thank You so much for revealing Yourself to us and pray for the grace to follow You to the end. Lord of the Harvest, once again we pray that You send forth labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We pray all these things in Jesus matchless name, amen.
