Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 – On the will of God

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Here in Boston, MN, seems like fall is slowly coming in, but it is well. Hmmm, the will of God is something very very very important – God, what do You want done in this situation or that. Jesus said He did the will of His Father in heaven. We see certain verses in the New Testament along these lines:

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12v2

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” Colossians 1v9

“Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself:” Ephesians 1v9

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today. We thank You for Your lovingkindness, for Your goodness, for the hope we have in You, and for the strength to face each day. We love You and appreciate You dear Lord. We bless You Jesus and we adore You Holy Spirit of God. Father, whilst we pray often that Your will be done in our lives, today Lord, we want to thank You for having made known unto us the mystery of Your will. We pray Lord that we be not conformed to this world, but that we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. We pray too and desire that we might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Lord of the harvest, Abba Father, we pray too that You send forth Your labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. We thank You Father, we thank You Jesus, we thank You Holy Spirit of God, for hearing us and answering us, even as we have prayed according to Your will, in Jesus name, amen.
