Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this very special day that the Lord has made, which we can rejoice and be glad in? I hope well. Today, a simple question with great implications (from a song a phenomenal choir director wrote is) - "who has the final say in your life, your affairs, your decisions, with everything that concerns you?"
Jesus said to His disciples:
"Abide in Me, and I in you..." From John 15v4
Are you allowing the Word to abide in you?
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3v15-16
Fretting? Let the peace of God rule; not sure where to turn, let the peace of God rule, let the peace of God rule, let the peace of God rule ...

Lord God Almighty,
We thank You so much for today, saying we give You full reigns of our lives and open ourselves to the Lordship of your peace in our hearts, to the which we are called in one body, and we are so so so so thankful to You. Blessed be Your holy name O God. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. And Lord, for as many as do not know You, we intercede on their behalves and pray that You O Lord of the harvest draw them unto You, in Jesus name we pray with thanksgiving, amen.

Thursday, November 22, 2007 - 3 words
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Happy Happy Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, it is Thanksgiving Day here in the States and I pray we make the Lord's testimonies as our heritage even today and forevermore.
3 letter words, yet so ... muah! In high school, we would use such terms as chasis, burns, just to signify that these words are 'the bomb.' These words, from John 15v4 are ... drum rolls:
"ABIDE IN ME..." Simply put - Abide in Me that is Abide in Jesus. The Amplified Bible says - "DWELL IN ME..." Simply put - stay, remain, abide, dwell, make Him your abode. Its strange that people ask, where do you live - and you say, oh, I live in... You hardly say I abide in Cambridge or I dwell in Cambridge. The place where we physically live, we could leave it for holidays, for school, and sometimes are not so sure we will always be there - perhaps flood, or storm or inability to pay the mortgage forces you away.
Abiding is seemingly more different. It means to be for always, and always and always. To dwell means the same. And Jesus says for us to ABIDE in Him. He being like an outer shell which we swim on the inside of - regardless of tempestous times or things beckoning us to come out of that shell, Jesus says to DWELL in Him. Regardless of what we are feeling on the inside of us, Jesus says to ABIDE in Him. Please ABIDE in Him - there is no hope outside of Him.
Have a blessed day.

Verse for thought:
"For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring." Acts 17v28
"And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" Ephesians 2v6

Our Father in Heaven,
We say thank You Father, thank You for life, thank You for joy, thank You for peace, thank You Jesus, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We thank You o Lord because we can abide in You, O Prince of peace and Lord of lords. How great to be able to abide in You. We truly are grateful. Lord, we lift up our lives into Your hands and say Lord, have Your way in Jesus name, amen.

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007 - Total Sanctification
Just thinking of vines, and branches and soil and dirt and ... imagining a little child who has been playing in the mud, and after a while, your parent or aunty or someone older calls you in to wash you - then you are clean. The hardest times was when you were already in snooze land and then you are awakened to have a bath - oh wow - that was tough. Almost as though - why can't you just let me sleep!
Jesus said to His disciples in John 15v3, after telling them that HE was the Vine and His Father the Husbandman, who taketh away any branch (we) which did not bear fruit, but purgeth any which did, that it might bear more fruit, that:
"Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you."
Looking at the dictionary meaning of now, we see such descriptions as:
- At this point in the series of events
- At the present time.
(from www.dictionary.com)
So if now, means now, what about then, or later, or ...
What does this - now - signify for us, now.
Have a blessed day.
Verses for thought:
"I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the things which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." Romans 12v1-2 (Amplified Bible)

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
Eternal Rock of ages, Everlasting God, Everliving God, God who says and does, God who does and says, our God who has never lost a battle, our God who sees all things and knows all things, and knows the intents and purposes of every heart, hallowed be Your holy name in Jesus name, amen. Eternal Rock of Ages, Father, we would like to appreciate You for all that You do and are doing and are even yet to do in our lives, we thank You because You are faithful and true, patient and kind, longsuffering and slow to anger - plenteous in mercy and love - how great Thou art. Father we thank You for we are sanctified by Your truth, and Your Word is truth. Oh Lord we pray for renewed fervour to submit ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You, as our reasonable, spiritual service. We pray for a heightened desire to study and meditate on Your Word, to Your approval, and the grace to not only be a hearer, but also a doer, so that we may not deceive ourselves. Blessed be Your holy name O Lord. Lord of the harvest, we pray too that You send forth labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Have Your way in our lives O Lord, and let Your name and Your name alone be glorified. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God, in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007 - Wondering Why?
Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? I hope well and keeping warm. Though out heart and strength faileth, God is the strength of our lives and our portion forever, amen. So it began snowing yesterday here in Boston, MA. But not so thick and not so long that it covers the entire floor. But a verse that comes to mind is one that goes along the lines of - The lazy man will not plow because of winter; he will beg during harvest, and have nothing - heavy, heavy, heavy. Thus, this is an encouragement that God is the strength of our lives and our portion forever - in all seasons.
The Bible says in John 15v2:
"Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."
EVER WONDER WHY many many things are happening to you? Perhaps you are being purged.
Have a wonderful day.

Sunday, November 18th, 2007 - The Perfect Example
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Have you ever heard the expression - "Leadership by example is contagious?" In John 14, Jesus had mentioned to His disciples how those who love Him, will keep His commandments, and His Father will love them, and He will love them and He and the Father will come and make Their abode with them. Now, we see in John 14v31 that Jesus also did the Father's commandments. He was not just sitting high and mighty saying do this or that, He also did exactly as the Father said to Him, that's why Jesus could confidently say -
"And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father hath not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him." John 8v29
And this was demonstrated in John 14v31 where Jesus said:
"But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence."
Have a blessed day.

Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for the love You have for us. May we always demonstrate our love for You - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, by always doing that which pleases You, in Jesus name, amen. We pray for those that do not know You and pray that they come to the knowledge of God, entering into a love relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God's name, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
