Sunday, November 18th, 2007 - The Perfect Example

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Have you ever heard the expression - "Leadership by example is contagious?" In John 14, Jesus had mentioned to His disciples how those who love Him, will keep His commandments, and His Father will love them, and He will love them and He and the Father will come and make Their abode with them. Now, we see in John 14v31 that Jesus also did the Father's commandments. He was not just sitting high and mighty saying do this or that, He also did exactly as the Father said to Him, that's why Jesus could confidently say -

"And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father hath not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him." John 8v29

And this was demonstrated in John 14v31 where Jesus said:
"But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence."

Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for the love You have for us. May we always demonstrate our love for You - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, by always doing that which pleases You, in Jesus name, amen. We pray for those that do not know You and pray that they come to the knowledge of God, entering into a love relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God's name, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
