Hello everyone.
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Have you ever been completely saturated with something that all you can think about is that - it could be smoke, or a perfume, or ... Well, the same way we see in John 15v7 where Jesus says:
1. If ye abide in Me,
2. and My words abide in you
3. ye shall ask what ye will,
4. and it shall be done unto you.
Numbers 1 and 2 describe a sort of saturation. You are in Him, His words are in you, basically, you are completely envelopped by and filled by Jesus so much so that He becomes what you think of, live out, act out .... When you then get to number 3, more often than not, what you will, will be something that lines up with what He wills. And isn't it powerful that Jesus says it shall be done unto you. Take Him for His word. He that promised is faithful, and will also do it.
Have a blessed day.

Verses for thought
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11v23&24

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today. We thank You so much for Your lovingkindness and Your tendermercies. We thank You so much for Your presence with us. We lift You high saying You are wonderful, and altogether glorious and precious and kind and none can compare to You in all of the heavens and in all of the earth. There is none that doeth wonders like You. We bless and appreciate and lift You up high. Hallowed be Your holy name forevermore. Father this day, we come to re-affirm our love for You and say we have faith in You, we believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We ask for the grace to remain abiding in the Son, and the diligence to let His words abide in us, and the peace to keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We love You Lord. We love You precious Holy Spirit of God. Have Your way O Lord in our lives even now and evermore. We pray for those who do not know You and ask that You draw them to You. Use us o Lord and let Your name and Your name alone be glorified. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. In Jesus mighty name we pray with thanksgiving, amen.

Monday, 26th of November, 2007 - Serious maltreatment!
Serious maltreatment - come and see. Jesus said to His disciples in John 15v6:
"If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
Serious maltreatment - come and see!!! Note the progression, if you don't abide in Jesus (signifying there was some sort of dwelling in Him before... or perhaps not), that person is cast off as a branch (so initially, the person is still a branch, things are still seemingly all fine and dandy.
Next thing the person knows, they begin to wither. Now I don't know which weather makes you wither more - perhaps winter, perhaps summer, perhaps rain, perhaps snow. But that assurance that the person formerly had about when they pass through the waters, it would not overflow them; when they go through the fire, they will not be burned, neither will the flames kindle upon them, would all be gone. They can no longer be guaranteed that like Daniel, the lions will not eat them up or like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that the flames would not burn them. Nope, not at all - the person begins to wither.
Finally, men gather them up and put them in the only place they seem useful - the fire, perhaps where they can produce heat to fuel other people's passions. May this never be our portion in Jesus name. Remember the sons of Sceva.
Have a blessed day.

Sunday, November 25th - How do you make do with what you hear?
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? We bless God. The other day, someone reminded me of the song - count your blessings name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done, count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done. And how true this is. How so true this is.
The Bible says in John 15v5 that:
"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing."
The words that Jesus spoke, they are spirit and they are life. Do you want to be fruitful? Abide in Him, and let Him abide in you. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise!!!
Have a blessed day.
Verses for thought:
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1v8
--
Lord, help me not only to be a hearer, but also a doer of Your word, in Jesus name, amen.

Saturday, November 24, 2007 - Reigning with Him
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Hmm, today we see how without Jesus, we cannot do anything. I mean, in Him we live, in Him we move, in Him we have our being. We say our prayers in His name, we do all things through Him. We see in particular in John 15v4 where the Bible says:
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me."
Verses for thought:
"The saying is sure and worthy of confidence: If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him.
If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us.
If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him]. He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself."
Have a blessed day.

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today. We thank You for Your goodness, for Your lovingkindness, for Your tendermercies. We bless You for who You are to us. We thank You for being ever faithful and true and for taking pleasure in our prosperity. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. Father Lord God Almighty, we pray for the grace to abide always in the vine, and let Him abide in us. Holy Spirit help us, not to deny the Lord, but to run with patience the race that is set in front of us. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We thank You and ask all these things, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

Friday, 23rd of November, 2007 - His Lordship
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this very special day that the Lord has made, which we can rejoice and be glad in? I hope well. Today, a simple question with great implications (from a song a phenomenal choir director wrote is) - "who has the final say in your life, your affairs, your decisions, with everything that concerns you?"
Jesus said to His disciples:
"Abide in Me, and I in you..." From John 15v4
Are you allowing the Word to abide in you?
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3v15-16
Fretting? Let the peace of God rule; not sure where to turn, let the peace of God rule, let the peace of God rule, let the peace of God rule ...

Lord God Almighty,
We thank You so much for today, saying we give You full reigns of our lives and open ourselves to the Lordship of your peace in our hearts, to the which we are called in one body, and we are so so so so thankful to You. Blessed be Your holy name O God. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. And Lord, for as many as do not know You, we intercede on their behalves and pray that You O Lord of the harvest draw them unto You, in Jesus name we pray with thanksgiving, amen.

Thursday, November 22, 2007 - 3 words
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Happy Happy Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, it is Thanksgiving Day here in the States and I pray we make the Lord's testimonies as our heritage even today and forevermore.
3 letter words, yet so ... muah! In high school, we would use such terms as chasis, burns, just to signify that these words are 'the bomb.' These words, from John 15v4 are ... drum rolls:
"ABIDE IN ME..." Simply put - Abide in Me that is Abide in Jesus. The Amplified Bible says - "DWELL IN ME..." Simply put - stay, remain, abide, dwell, make Him your abode. Its strange that people ask, where do you live - and you say, oh, I live in... You hardly say I abide in Cambridge or I dwell in Cambridge. The place where we physically live, we could leave it for holidays, for school, and sometimes are not so sure we will always be there - perhaps flood, or storm or inability to pay the mortgage forces you away.
Abiding is seemingly more different. It means to be for always, and always and always. To dwell means the same. And Jesus says for us to ABIDE in Him. He being like an outer shell which we swim on the inside of - regardless of tempestous times or things beckoning us to come out of that shell, Jesus says to DWELL in Him. Regardless of what we are feeling on the inside of us, Jesus says to ABIDE in Him. Please ABIDE in Him - there is no hope outside of Him.
Have a blessed day.

Verse for thought:
"For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring." Acts 17v28
"And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" Ephesians 2v6

Our Father in Heaven,
We say thank You Father, thank You for life, thank You for joy, thank You for peace, thank You Jesus, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We thank You o Lord because we can abide in You, O Prince of peace and Lord of lords. How great to be able to abide in You. We truly are grateful. Lord, we lift up our lives into Your hands and say Lord, have Your way in Jesus name, amen.

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007 - Total Sanctification
Just thinking of vines, and branches and soil and dirt and ... imagining a little child who has been playing in the mud, and after a while, your parent or aunty or someone older calls you in to wash you - then you are clean. The hardest times was when you were already in snooze land and then you are awakened to have a bath - oh wow - that was tough. Almost as though - why can't you just let me sleep!
Jesus said to His disciples in John 15v3, after telling them that HE was the Vine and His Father the Husbandman, who taketh away any branch (we) which did not bear fruit, but purgeth any which did, that it might bear more fruit, that:
"Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you."
Looking at the dictionary meaning of now, we see such descriptions as:
- At this point in the series of events
- At the present time.
(from www.dictionary.com)
So if now, means now, what about then, or later, or ...
What does this - now - signify for us, now.
Have a blessed day.
Verses for thought:
"I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the things which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." Romans 12v1-2 (Amplified Bible)

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
Eternal Rock of ages, Everlasting God, Everliving God, God who says and does, God who does and says, our God who has never lost a battle, our God who sees all things and knows all things, and knows the intents and purposes of every heart, hallowed be Your holy name in Jesus name, amen. Eternal Rock of Ages, Father, we would like to appreciate You for all that You do and are doing and are even yet to do in our lives, we thank You because You are faithful and true, patient and kind, longsuffering and slow to anger - plenteous in mercy and love - how great Thou art. Father we thank You for we are sanctified by Your truth, and Your Word is truth. Oh Lord we pray for renewed fervour to submit ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You, as our reasonable, spiritual service. We pray for a heightened desire to study and meditate on Your Word, to Your approval, and the grace to not only be a hearer, but also a doer, so that we may not deceive ourselves. Blessed be Your holy name O Lord. Lord of the harvest, we pray too that You send forth labourers into Your harvest, for the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Have Your way in our lives O Lord, and let Your name and Your name alone be glorified. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God, in Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
