Saturday, November 24, 2007 - Reigning with Him

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Hmm, today we see how without Jesus, we cannot do anything. I mean, in Him we live, in Him we move, in Him we have our being. We say our prayers in His name, we do all things through Him. We see in particular in John 15v4 where the Bible says:

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me."

Verses for thought:
"The saying is sure and worthy of confidence: If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him.

If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us.

If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him]. He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself."

We thank You so much for today. We thank You for Your goodness, for Your lovingkindness, for Your tendermercies. We bless You for who You are to us. We thank You for being ever faithful and true and for taking pleasure in our prosperity. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. Father Lord God Almighty, we pray for the grace to abide always in the vine, and let Him abide in us. Holy Spirit help us, not to deny the Lord, but to run with patience the race that is set in front of us. Thank You Father, thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God. We thank You and ask all these things, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
