Thursday, November 29th, 2007 - Ain't no one able to refute it

When I was younger, I read a book called Streiker. There were two of them, Streiker ... and Streiker the Kildeer. In the initial book, Streiker is this multi millionaire person, who picks for his bride a young lady, who was a secretary, to be his bride. She was of a humble background. In the second, Streiker is suddenly shot down on a plane, she has no way of reaching him for a while, and a package which he had asked her to pick up for him, just happened to be a child! What a challenge. It was a real test of her love for him, trusting his character and things he had revealed to her during the brief time they were together.

"As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you: continue ye in My love." John 15v9

Today's daily encouragement is just to encourage you that regardless of what you see, what you don't see, continue in Jesus' love. Believe His words to you, believe He who has promised to never leave us comfortless, but will come to us. Believe, believe, believe, ... and continue ye in His love.

Streiker did come back, and things were made clearer for his new bride. The child, had been taught to fear Streiker, and his new bride was the one who helped to bridge the gap between father and son. Sound familiar?

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that therein is, the Ruler of the ends of the earth, Omnipotent, Omniscient, magnificent, most holy, most faithful, most true, hallowed be Your name o God. Lord You reign in majesty, heaven and earth are filled with Your glory, hosanna in the highest. Daddy, this day we come to thank You for Your love. We thank You for loving Jesus, for loving us, for loving us enough to send Jesus to die for us. Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your love, we thank You for loving us enough to die for us. Holy Spirit, we appreciate You for Your love and care of us - daily revealing to us words from the Father and from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Indeed, Holy Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, You are love, and You are wonderful and You are perfect, and true and just. We love You, we appreciate You, we thank You and we continue in Jesus' love for us, keeping ourselves in the love of the Father, looking to the mercy of Jesus and continuing in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Thank You Father, please Lord of the Harvest, draw unto You those who do not know You, in Jesus name, amen. Thank You Son, thank You Holy Spirit of God, in Jesus mighty name we pray with thanksgiving, amen.
